TURNKEY PROJECTS
Temenos Globus T24 implementation in Central Bank of Nigeria, Abuja (CBN).
Installation, Development, Training, Testing and Commissioning Temenos Globus T24.
Specific development and automation of the Government Security Systems.
Project Background: CBN in conjunction with the World Bank had embarked on automating all areas of their activities. This culminated in CBN project ‘Eagles’. After an extensive search, CBN chose Temenos T24 for automating all bank functions amongst others. This resulted in an award of contract to Temenos Systems UK. Temenos UK have worked with their partners in Nigeria Inlaks Computers who also have invited MZ Consulting as sub-contractors on the project.

The project involves the implementation of:
Retail system to manage CBN’s interface with Banks both locally and internationally.
Government Security Systems for floating Bonds, Securities, Bills (discounted and non-discounted).
Foreign Exchange Auctions to finance imports in the Nigerian Economy.

Afribank Nigeria Plc
Globus G13 System Audit.
Project Background – Afribank, after many years of using Globus decided to expand their operations by a massive branch expansion program to meet the new CBN recapitalisation requirements and grow to a bank of over 25 billion Naira capital base. Afribank recognised that they would have to at the same time grow their technology platform in line with their new size. As a first step, Afribank commissioned RDSL to carry out a Globus G13 System audit and draw up a plan for migration to Temenos T24.
Technical Highlights:

Identify all areas of difficulty and propose solutions;
Review the current effort of migration to T24 and advise on best way forward;
Identify manpower planning requirements for the technology department.
Zenith Bank Plc
Temenos T24 Implementation.
Project Background – Zenith Bank Plc decided to change its software to Temenos T24. To this end, Zenith successfully negotiated a contract with Temenos systems UK to implement T24. MZ Consulting Limited together with Inlaks Computers Limited are currently implementing T24 for Zenith Bank Plc.

Train Zenith Bank Plc IT staff on the implementation of T24 technically.

Afribank Trustees and Investments Limited
Temenos Globus G13.2 Implementation.
Project Background – Afribank Trustees and Investments Limited decided to change its software to Temenos Globus G13.2. To this end, Afribank Trustees and Investments Limited successfully negotiated a contract with MZ Consulting Limited to implement T24.

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated
Signature and Image Conversion
Project Background – Ecobank is implementing a new banking software. Our involvement was in the conversion of Globus signatures and images to Jpeg for the new banking software to adopt. For this project we have used ABBYY FineReader for the conversion.

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated
Historical Data Conversion from Temenos Globus G13.2.7 to Flexcube
Project Background – Ecobank is implementing new banking software. This project involved extraction of Historical Data from Temenos Globus G13.2.7 to Oracle in line with the new banking application Flexcube.
Technical Highlights:
Development of Globus code to extract relevant tables from Globus to CSV files
Develop Oracle scripts for user access across the Ecobank Network
Supervise and ensure that project is on tract.

Branch network renovation for data and voice
Project Background – Ecobank awarded us a contract to renovate the network in 22 branches for both data and voice.

Crusader Sterling Pensions Limited
Temenos T24 Training
Project Background – After implementing Temenos T24, Crusader Sterling Pensions, a pension administrator required more in depth training for their staff. This we provided for them, thus bringing their staff to a much higher level of understanding of the product.
